Embodying Safety: Resilience, One by One

Thursday, November 12, 2026

3:30 – 4:30 PM PT · Online via Zoom

Hosted by OLLI @ UC Berkeley’s Vital Aging Forum

Just days after the midterm elections, join Amelia Barili for an hour that meets this exact moment, a living, experiential practice in calming an overstressed nervous system. Drawing on ancient wisdom and neuroscience, you’ll practice simple, embodied tools to reset stress, restore clarity, and rebuild resilience, one person, one breath, one relationship at a time. This is not a talk to sit back and absorb. It is an hour to actually feel steadier by the time it ends.

Because democracy has a nervous system too, made of how we show up for each other.

Leave steadier, clearer, and ready for whatever comes next.

This Hour Is Just the Beginning

Both of Amelia’s upcoming OLLI @ UC Berkeley courses go much deeper into the practices you’ll taste on November 12, and an OLLI membership is what opens the door to all of these offerings.
